Skill Orbit Implements Legal Control System at NBP

Skill Orbit, today, successfully launched the Legal Control system at National Bank of Pakistan (NBP).

The implementation of the highly specialized case operations management tool will allow NBP to enhance the performance of its legal department by managing all its operations from a centralized location.

Legal management, whether it is in the form of collaboration, accessibility or document management among other things, is a growing challenge in today’s competitive market, regardless of the industry you operate in. NBP realized the need for more streamlined operations across their legal department and called an open tender. Skill Orbit won the bid and, thus, began the implementation of its Legal Control system at the bank.

Following the launch of the easy-to-use end-to-end tool, officials of the legal department at NBP will be able to take a proactive approach in filing suits as they will have easy access to all the information they need. The system will also allow the bank to eliminate ad-hocism in the management of case proceedings, as well as the law firm hiring process. In addition to that, it will allow for systematic and timely reporting while also facilitating efficient regulatory audits among other things.

The Go-Live event for the launch was held at the NBP head office in Karachi and was attended by senior officials from both organizations. Aamir Zareef Khan, NBP Head of Legal Department, expressed his satisfaction at Skill Orbit’s successful implementation of the much-needed system that is now up and running at the bank and will benefit it in many ways.
